NLCRPD Officers were called to the scene of the hit-and-run at Woodcrest Avenue and Millport Road in the area of Rohrer's Quarry in Lititz sometime before 10:30 a.m., department officials detailed in the release.
The vehicle that hit the bicyclist and fled is described as follows by the police:
"a white SUV body type that continued towards the Quarry from Woodcrest, this vehicle should have passenger side damage specifically to the mirror."
The bicyclist was taken in an ambulance to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
